Our wines graduate top of the class
We’ve always had ‘grape’ expectations for our wines, and we’re very excited that the wonderful Sam Kim from Wine Orbit thinks so too.
Sam has built up an impressive wine knowledge bank as a judge at various wine competitions, including the New Zealand International Wine Show, as well as holding a Certificate in Winemaking from EIT.
In addition to that, over the past 30 years Sam has been involved with the New Zealand hospitality industry, wine retail, importing and distribution, as well as running wine courses and master classes.
It’s safe to say, Sam lives and breathes all things wine and as you can imagine we’re extremely grateful he took the time to taste, enjoy and review our delicious range.

“It’s wonderfully fruited and fragrant on the nose showing dark plum, mulberry, cake spice and hazelnut aromas with a hint of gamey complexity. The palate displays excellent weight and plump mouthfeel, well supported by silky texture and rounded mouthfeel, finishing comforting and delicious.”

“This wine is beautifully ripe and elegantly lifted on the nose showing Black Doris plum, sweet cherry, anise and almond characters. The palate displays lovely weight and flowing mouthfeel together with juicy fruit intensity and supple tannins, finishing flavoursome and very appealing.”
